phpmv2 php my visits


i dont know if this is a repeat or a problem question but i have a problem i cant fix.


i am using fedora core 3, i cant seem to get freetype gd2 or this "mysql extension" to work. i dont know where to get the packages or the files....where how what are they for.

i once installed XAMPP and it had all those thigns in it but i wanna use the built in httpd and mysqld in fedora core 3, any suggestions...
