PhpLdapAdmin configuration to connect LDAP server

Hi All,

I am trying to configure PhpLdapAdmin site to connect to LDAP server. I have configured phpldapadmin on another machine but after configuring I am not able to connect to LDAP server. I am getting error as "Can't contact LDAP server for user."

I have done the below configuration in /etc/phpldapadmin/config.php, for this I have referred http://www.tecmint.com/install-openl...-debianubuntu/ link

Code:
$servers = new Datastore();
$servers->newServer('ldap_pla');
$servers->setValue('server','name','My LDAP Server');
$servers->setValue('server','host','127.0.0.1');
$servers->setValue('server','base',array('dc=mydomain,dc=com'));
$servers->setValue('login','bind_id','cn=Manager,dc=mydomain,dc=com');
Could you please help me to configure phpldapadmin correctly.

Regards,
Yogesh

You said: " I have configured phpldapadmin on another machine" (emphasis mine)...then you posted the configuration you tried. Do you not see the problem???

You configured phpldapadmin to use 127.0.0.1...which is the machine that the PHPLDAPADMIN is on, not the address of the LDAP server. Also, you need to check the domain and other info, because that doesn't look anything like what you'd use in production, but rather a sample.

Thanks for the reply, I change the 127.0.0.1 to ldap server IP and it works.

Yogesh
