I'm trying to install phpBB on my webserver in Slackware 10.1. When I go to the install page I can only see the page source. Is this something to do with php, because I think it is installed. How do I check?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you don't have the php module loaded - check your apache configuration.

You could try simple php page like:
<? phpinfo(); ?>
