I'm running Linux From Scratch (V6.0) so everything is / must be compiled from source.

Ok, I'm trying to write some PHP scripts which need to use the IMAP functions. This means I need to add "--with-imap" to my configure line for php. If I do, I get an error which, upon investigation, is caused by my not having installed the c-client libraries. I downloaded these, but can't get them to compile. Problems are :-

1) Not sure which arch to choose. I've tried sl5, slx and lnx.

2) Not sure about pre-reqs

Anyone able to offer advice?

Doesn't really match the LFS idea, but have a look at the
slackware-build-scripts for PHP. PV includes the imap stuff
from pine, I think.
