PHP Editor with ftp remote
 

Hi there,

I installed Slackware yesterday and I'm still busy modifying the system the way I want but haven't had much time yet.

At the moment I'm looking for software that meets my needs.
In Windows I used EditPlus2 to create/edit and save my ASP/PHP/HTML/... files. The advantage with this program is that you can have a direct connection with your FTP server. I think it's called Remote FTP access but dunno.

For the last half hour I've been searching for an editor that can do this but so far no luck.
Does anyone have any idea of an editor that supports this? Plus syntax-highlighting for different languages (especially PHP). Maybe the ability to add extensions/plugins for new highlighting-scheme's of other languages?

Ermm.. use vi while logged in remotely using ssh always works for me.. :rolleyes:
