PHP Editor
I'm trying to find a good editor for editing PHP Files in Gnome.

I have a few criterias for it,
1. more than one file open in the program at once (ie, tabs)
2. (unlimited) undo history
3. SMB/NFS support
4. *correct* php syntax highliting. With functions and all.
5. *No* Preview or stuff like that. Just a plain simple editor.

I've been using Gedit, but I'm pretty much dissapointed with it because of the highliting of the code is pretty bad.

If anyone knows any good editor, I would be happy.

You may try BlueFish. It is not a "plain simple editor", however. It is more like a IDE for web stuff. It supports several markup languages and it is robust, stable and nice.

You can also use Quanta which is part of the kdewebdev package.

Thank you both for the tips, I have tried them both tho, and doesn't like them.

Quanta requires the kde dev stuff, and since I'm running a gnome only system I don't want to use that one. But it was pretty okay I must say.

BlueFish I didn't like at all really, to much in it.

But I have found what I was searching for myself,

SciTE, it's simple and plain and does Emacs. :)

So if anyone wounders to, try SciTE.
