Photo Suite .pzp files

Just received what I believe are photos for xmas in a .pzp file (CHRISTMAS2006.pzp !!) from a trusted source. Goggling reveals that this is a MGI Photo Suite Project file and that XnView should be able to handle it.

XnView stops after loading 30% of 2.7Mb with "cannot read file".

This is the first time I have encountered this file type or used XnView (I installed XnView-static-fc4.i386.rpm as yum could not find it for fc5) and natilus added it to the "open with" dialogue OK.

Any advice/comments (other than it might be a corrupted file) welcomed.

I would ask your trusted source for a version of the file in an open format, such as png's in a gziped tar file.
