pheonix shortcut

I have downloaded phoenix but have to start it from a terminal each time. There must be a quicker way but could not see in FAQ. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

what window manager are you using. I have phoenix installed in /home/phoenix. In kde i open menudrake in mandrake 9.1, click on networking in left window, add entry, put whatever title i want then in command i put this /home/phoenix/phoenix
So, however you add shortcuts to your menu in redhat, whichever window manager you are using, just make sure the command has the path to the phoenix executable.

If you are using Gnome

right click=>new launcher=> in the command box put pheonix, select an icon save - done.
