Smile Personalized email

Hello

I have been using Yahoo Groups for sending emails to subscribers.
The problem is Yahoo group does't allow personalized messages.

Now My organization wants to send Personalized email. If possible we want to include the members loyalty rewards points.

I have the users Name, email, Points in excel/CSV format.

All together approx. 6000 members.

How to send email without being spammed? I don't mind if any cron job which can send 100 or 200 emails per hour. It may take two days. i am ok with that.

Please share your inputs. Thank you

No idea what you mean by wanting to SEND mail without being spammed. Sending and receiving mail are two different things. If you want to send out emails to your customers, and you've already got the addresses, it's a simple matter to write a script (either bash or perl), to read the address list, and send out an email. If you're concerned about receiving mail, then don't allow your mail server TO receive, or install spamassasin, which deals with spam.

Thanks for the reply.

When I send Bulk emails, it may be treated as Spam or Junk email and may not be delivered to users inbox. I would like to avoid and prevent my address/ip as Junk. How to prevent my emails are treated as SPAM?

Thanks

You don't. The receiver decides such things...if the SENDERS of emails could set some sort of flag to make emails NOT be recognized as spam, don't you think they'd do it? And wouldn't that also render every piece of spam filter technology pointless?

If you don't want your emails to be marked as spam, tell your customers to set their mail clients to accept the emails as valid. Another good tip would be to not send out pointless emails that your customers would get irritated with, and manually mark them as junk.
