Unhappy Permission in SuSe 9.2 Pro

Hi there,
I've installed SuSE 9.2 Pro on my PC and I'm the only user that use it.
I want to have every permissions in my user but for using KPPP and mounting FlashDisk the OS prompt me that I don't have enough permission to do that.
How can I make my user's permissions equal to root?

Try to just add the user to the group root with editing the /etc/passwd file with a text editor (of course as root). But I would not recommend making a normal user equivalent to root, because it makes your system more vurnerable to crackers etc. However, there might be other possible things to do here.

#vim /etc/passwd

//change the line with
username:username ...
// or
username:users ...
// to
What distro are you using?
