Permission Denied while installing new jar library for my new application

Hi anyone!

I have developed a Java application and want to install as a normal user (not root).

The application need a jar file to be installed on jre/lib/ext that is my special library.

I'm using Izpack, a tool to made to give out a single jar file able to copy your library and your java code at once both for Win and linux but....something seems work wrong.

If I Try to install as root, anything go right.

Any suggestion?

The most likely problem here is that this installer is putting some files into a location that is not wriable by a non-root user. What are the permissions of the jre/lib/ext directory?

As a normal user, you can only install software to places on the hard disk where you have write access. This generally means somewhere under the /home/username directory.
