Unhappy Permission Denied when trying to view another users quota

Hi

I'm basically building up a backup platform for our users, basically SSH, FTP, Rsync and a shell management script + web interface to go with it.

I am running apache as "webuser" and I need to be able to pull up quotas for all users on the server.

I can view the quotas for "webuser" fine but if I try to view quota of any other user I get "Permission Denied".

I've not really used quotas manually without a control panel before so I am not exactly sure how I can set permissions so this user "webuser" can view the quotas for all users?

Command being simply: quota -u username

Any help would be really appreciated

Thanks

Edit: Sorry mods this is in the wrong forum..

Only the root account user should be able to see all users data. Mucking with group memberships or changing the application to be run setuid root to accomplish this should be avoided: check out Sudo and see if that works for you.
