permission denied at command line

Hi I,m following this instructions

so that I can get a program working but I am getting this error

/usr/bin/dir2slideshow: line 418: ./Complete example.txt: Permission denied

What does this mean?

it mean that you dont have the permission to execute that program. It may be because it is not an executable, or you simply don't have the right to execute it.

sudo chmod 755 /usr/bin/dir2slideshow

and see if your command work, if it don't, then your app is not correctly installed.
