The same way you install them in any other version of Linux. Download the module, and read the installation notes, some are different from others.

Most of them will be "perl Makefile.PL", "make", "make test", then "make install". But again, read the documentation that comes with the Perl modules.

Also, since you're paying for RedHat enterprise support, you could always call them with this question.

cpan

Shankar,

There is a program called 'cpan' which acts as an installer for perl modules. You will need to run this as root.

The first time that you run it, cpan will do a bunch of initialization. Follow the prompts, and you'll be ok.

When things finally settle down, you'll get a cpan prompt:

Code:
cpan>
At the prompt, type 'install' then the name of the module that you're installing, e.g.

Code:
cpan> install Term::ANSIColor
The install may take a few minutes, especially if there are dependencies which need to be resolved, but eventually, you should get your module installed.

Cpan has a fairly good help menu, as well.

And please have a look at the command
yum search perl*

I get about 2000 perl-modules displayed
... to be installed with

# yum install perl-<module-name>
Or use the package Manager "Add Remove Software"
.....

From cpan (http://search.cpan.org/) website you can download modules and as "TB0ne" said you can install perl modules.

It's extremely unlikely it's not already installed. See my post #4 here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...r%2Fbin%2Fperl
