Exclamation Perl Installed Twice

I think I've got a problem...

I'm running a SuSE Linux Enterprise Server with perl installed. When I used to perform a 'which perl', it would come up at /usr/bin/perl. I think I may have messed something up using CPAN. Now I get when I run 'which perl' /usr/local/bin/perl' How do I get rid of this? Is it a global environmental issue? The orginal RPMs still exist and all of the files seem there from the original install of Perl.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jason

1.) make sure which verison of perl do you want
2.) uninstall both copies, and install the ones that you want...

it sounds stupid but it's a way to safely do it .... since perl has many versions (4,5,6...etc) and they work quite differently, it is safer to stick to the ones that you are most familiar with .
