per process cpu utilization

hello frnds,

Can anyone suggest me the way to calculate the value of per process cpu utilization as shown in top command

also same for per process memmory utilization per process.......

i m not able to find a way to calculate this statics so if u can plz suggest a way out of it

plz plz reply as soon as possible........i badly need it

% * MHZ = cycles used ?
