PenDrive Linux to hard drive

Is there a way to install Fedora 11 from a pen drive to a hard drive?

More to the point, why would one want to do that? I can imagine a situation in which a computer has (1) no Internet access, (2) no CD/DVD drive but (3) does have USB and can boot from a USB device.

If all of these problems are not present at the same time, and in particular if the target machine has Internet access, the pen drive only needs to contain a very brief HTML document with a link to the Fedora download page.

So, technically, yes. It can be done. But please -- tell us why this need exists.

1) I had no internet access at the time (I do now tho),
2) I have a dvd drive but for some reason it will not read dvd's. I'm in the process of replacing it.
3) It does have a USB

I was just wondering if there was a way. But since I have internet Access again I'm doing it that way. My problem is that I don't have a cd/dvd burner so putting it on a cd/dvd is hard. Plus being that I am using a copy I obtained through school I am running Fedora 6 on my system so I have been trying to upgrade to 11 since my windows hard drive crapped out on me.
