Peer 2 Peer Client


Is there a peer to peer network client for linux? I use both KDE and GNOME desktops?

You can share files through ftp, or through a nfs, or even a web server. But for pure peer to peer services, you have to install special tools, something like kazaa in windows.

Yes, there are many P2P clients for Linux.

Several Gnutella, OpenNap, Direct Connect and KaZaA (FastTrack) clients are available, for both Gnome, KDE and others. I suggest you do a search on some simple keywords at freshmeat.net.
