PDL package updater problems
So, i have a 16 gig flash drive. I have a 5.5 gig partition with Pendrive Linux 08 installed on it. There is a 10.5 gig partition with my music, blah blah blah. Now, when using the package manager (rpmdrake i think it is) it somehow tried to write more than the capacity of my flash drive or something like that. This caused it to be really flukey and i had to use apt-get -f and remove commands. The problem is, that deleted the urpmi package, its dependencies, and the same goes for the rpmdrake package. Does anyone know if this install is salvagable? If so, please post any ideas. A fresh install isn't a big deal, but I would rather not have to. Pendrive Linux 08 seems to have the same packages and base system as Mandriva 07 if that helps anyone. By the way, I made the mcnlive persistent loop (or whatever its called) 2g instead of 256 meg. I have a running ubuntu machine, vista machine, fedora 8 machine, and xp machine if anybody knows of anyway to salvage it from any of those systems if i could not from PDL.
Thanks
