PDFsam - First Page Oldest

I'm interested in using PDFsam to merge some PDFs. I'd like to know if PDFsam makes the first page added the first page in the new PDF, or if it goes by timestamps? For example, if PDF# 1 was created a 4:05:05 and PDF# 2 was created at 4:05:35, which one will be the first page in the new PDF?

Mr M,

There is reference to timestamps here:

The Documentation and FAQ links at the top may hold further clues.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t help as it’s about naming and not organization of merged PDFs.

But thanks anyway.

I have not used pdfsam but I assume the documents are merged in the order they are added.
