PDF to TIFF
Hi all,
does anybody know of a (preferable open source) program to confert PDF files to TIFF? I have seen various commercial packages out there, but I just want something which will work on the linux command line so that I can wrap it with a perl script. thanks christo |
If you have Imagemagic installed this works very well.
convert sample.pdf sample.tiff KC |
thanks kencaz
I'll give Imagemagic a try. christo |

If your system has "The Gimp" software package, you can open a pdf with Gimp and save it as a tif. I just tried this under Ubuntu and it worked ok.
This may be irrelevant to your question. I don't know if Gimp can be run from the command line. |
Gimp has a batch processor available that I have found immensely useful, it may work for what he's doing as well.
