Okay. So I built the package using the slackbuild. Edited it to use x86_64. Thing built fine, installed fine, appears to run fine. When I go to the configuration menu I am able to choose my bios file and the folder in which to search for plugins. I am, however, unable to choose the plugins. They are all in the default $HOME/.pcsx/plugins folder. The menu items in which you choose the plugins are blank. They won't let me click on them at all.
I don't understand what's happening.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it because I'm using 64 bit?
Are there any good 64 bit PSX emulators available? If there are google is not friggen helping me find it, so I ask here. Posting questions at these forums is always my last resort and it never seems to help anyway, so I kind of expect to just talk to myself again.
I tried to multilib this installation of slackware using the alien multilib instructions and packages here:

This seemed like the perfect solution to all my 32 bit compatibility needs but it didn't seem to work right. a 32bit compile of zsnes kept segfaulting and all my 32 bit compiles of various versions of wine kept failing to launch anything beyond the winecfg window. It appeared to be useless and I'm reluctant to try it again and watch it fail. It also seems a little ridiculous to me that I might have to resort to a 32 bit chroot just to run a few goddamn games.
Computers piss me off.
