PCLOS repos - need freeciv 2.1

Hey guys, I am running PClinuxOS 2007, and was wanting to upgrade my current freeciv 2.0.8 to a 2.1 beta or a 2.0.9. All the repositories I have, have old versions on them. Does any PCLOS repo have any newer version? I know i can compile from source and stuff, but been having prob doing that. Would like it to be in repo anyways. Thanks in advance.

Was able to add repo, but ran into a small problem when marking for installation:

freeciv-client:
Depends: freeciv-data (= 2.1.0)
Depends: freeciv-server (= 2.1.0)
Depends: libreadline.so.4.3 but it is not installable

Which package management tool are you using?

From the looks of the error message, you need to also install freeciv-data and freeciv-server. The libreadline problem may be solvable by another techinque. Read more here: http://wiki.arklinux.org/Working_Workarounds. Scroll down the page to find the part about symlinking to libreadline.so.5.

Was able to get it fixed. The problem was that libreadline.so.4.3 was not in any of my repositories. I manually downloaded the rpm and installed it. After that I was able to select FreeCiv for install. It works great! Except for the fact that Beryl and FreeCiv do not work well with each other. I found out that I had to temporarily disable Beryl so there wouldn't be any lag. Thanks!
