I've just received a PCLinuxOS v.0.92 Live/Install CD. It loads smoothly and the graphical interface comes up and asks for a user name and password. The problem is I can find nowhere in the loading process to set a user name or password. Am I missing something very obvious or is the iso image corrupted. I've run the live install several times but still am missing where I could create the logon info.
I've run the Ubuntu live CD and in that distro and I assume others it clearly prompts you for username/password creation.
For both username and password enter "guest", without the quotes, and you should be on your way! The account "root" has "root" as password. You will be asked for this for administration activities.
Thanks for pointing me to the Source. I didn't burn the iso but bought it on the web so I didn't know the obvious site to get a PCLinux question answered.
