PCI message

This is a message I get when running Kanotix as a virtual
machine with VMware Player:

PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 4 of device 0000:00:07.1

Of course I don't get this msg when running the live CD or
when Kanotix is installed to HD. This msg may be a clue to some strange behavior when running the virtual machine.

Any ideas?
