partition tool for linux
does anyone know of a partition tool for linux? or an open source program? I've heard a lot of people mention it and it has two things against it i don't like. One for windows and two for money.

diskdrake is excellent IMO. It is Open-Source, and available in RPM format from any Mandrake repository (rpmfind.net for example).

If you're trying to partition the only HD in the system, it's useful to have a boot CD with some of these tools available. I use knoppix personally. I think it has all the options anonobomber above mentioned. DSmall probably has some too (haven't used it). I expect most of the live CD's will have something.
QTParted is graphical (kinda like partition magic); fdisk, cfdisk, and (I think) parted are all text based. I haven't used drakedisk, but I have heard others pleased with it.
