HELP!

I enjoyed Linux so much on my desktop, I bought an old Canon NotejetIII to put Red Hat on. Because Linux did not recognize the Backpack CDROM, I chose the optional "Install from Hard Disk". At the point where it asked how much space to give to Linux, I decided to give it the entire disk (Big Mistake!). It overwrote the install program and quit.

Now, I get...
---------------------------------------------------------
Partition table corrupted or doesn't exist. This problem requires PhoenixMISER(TM) to disable save to disk. Correcting this problem (running PHDISK if necassary) or disabling this feature in SETUP will prevent this message from reoccuring.
---------------------------------------------------------
press F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility
invalid partition table

I have Downloaded distribution by Debian which installs from floppy, but I can't use it because it is impossible to get past this error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the laptop is moaning becuase the partition that is suspends to has disappeared. As this is turning up before it attempts to boot the OS I think you're only course of action will be to track down the utilities that it mentions. Either that or look in your 'setup utility' and disable 'suspend to disk' or 'save to disk' or something like that (as per the error message).

More advice, please.

Unfortunately, I downloaded the phdisk.exe from the web and it still gives the same response. Also, the setup utility doesn't have a "save to disk" option. More Advice please.
