Partition Magic 8 hangs in XP after installing Red Hat 9

HI, I have a DELL 5100. I used partition magic 8 to partition my hd to create a partition for Red Hat ... so that I could dual boot. However I realised that I'd made the windows partition too small. Now i need to increase the partition size, using partition magic 8 .. but it hangs up saying "Partition's drive letter cannot be identified" and it shuts. Could any one help me on how to increase the partition on which win xp is installed and reduce the partition on which i store my data files???
