Partimage & "SATA" problem again!

Hello,everyone!

I have a server configured as below and I start installing most of the software on it.However,I would like to backup my system before I made big changes. So I chose Partimage as my backup solution. As I boot up with the most updated BootDisc,it couldn't detect my SATA hard drive.Indeed,I have done some research on it and found out that I should make changes on the BIOS setting.I do have a selection saying SATA configuration, but it doesn't appear anything like combination mode.

Do you guys have any suggestion regarding detect SATA hard drive with Partimage? Please feel free and drop me a line if you have.

Slack usually configures SATA as /dev/hde. Check on that. I have my SATA configured and lined up in fstab

SlackerLX,thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately,my hard drive doesn't appear as /dev/hde.When I type partimage and no hard drive is present.

Please guide me what to do if you have encountered such problem.

You should probably check on manufacturer. Sometimes SATA drive must be configured as SCSI
