Par2create for different multipart RAR archives in a folder?

Hey there,

I'm a pretty new linux user and want to create par files for some of my backups. Hope someone can help me quickly. :-)
I created some multipart rar archives like these:

backup1.part01.rar
backup1.part02.rar
...
otherbackup.part01.rar
otherbackup.part02.rar
etc.

Since I have tons of multipart rar archives in that folder I wanted to use the command line to create par2 files for EACH of these multipart rar archives.

I tried the following:
for f in *.rar; do par2create -r5 -n5 "$f" $f.rar; done

This works but creates par files for every part. I would like to have only one set of par files for the whole rar archive (part01.rar, part02.rar and so on).
Can someone tell me how I have to do this (wildcard??)

Thanks in advance!
