There are thousands of arm packages for Debian,
par2 ( commandline ) is included.
http://packages.debian.org/etch/par2

If your arm system isn't Debian based, just extract
the package, cp the executable par2 to arm and make
the 3 links, then test if it works.

The Python frontend is here
http://pypar2.silent-blade.org/
'pypar2-1.4.tar.gz' includes a makefile.
Just type # 'make install' to have pypar2 in
/usr/local/
( No other options, except uninstall )

You will need 'python-vte' ( py-vte ) to open
the "python par2 GUI"
....

A Debian package is a binary, unpack it on a Linux
system, and transfer the naked executable 'par2'
/usr/bin/par2 to the unit.
http://packages.debian.org/etch/par2
http://packages.debian.org/lenny/par2

You asked for arm, these links take you to 12 "archs"
including ppc / osx.

And secondly you asked for Python, being architecture
independent, will of course run on a python interpreter.
....

Try with a new thread in the OSX Forum = non.NIX

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/other-nix-55/

And this time with all the informations from the beginning.
Also : May be there is another similar application,
working on your phone. Suggest : ask for that too.

Maybe par2 for bsd on the arm processor would work:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/pack...r2/README.html
