Panda Wireless PAU06 Recognized, Not Connecting

I'm trying to connect a Panda Wireless USB device to an Intel NUC running Ubuntu 17.04. The device shows everywhere you'd expect it to show but won't connect to the network. There is no error. It just tries for about 20 seconds or so and then stops trying. I've rebooted multiple times and tried the device in different USB ports.

Any ideas?

Here's some info that might be helpful:

Hi:

I'm not the best when it comes to the wireless stuff. However I did find a Debian WiKi that might help.

I think you need the 'firmware-ralink' in order for your Ralink Technology, Corp. RT5372 Wireless Adapter to work.

https://wiki.debian.org/rt2800usb

Hope that helps.

Well, I couldn't find those Ralink drivers anywhere. I did, however, setup a virtual machine with Ubuntu 17.10 and the USB wireless adapter worked. So it looks like those drivers have been included in the 4.13 kernel.

If anyone knows a place to find those drivers, it would be good for posterity to add the link here.

I got the same error while installing the driver from Panda wireless
http://www.pandawireless.com/downloa....5.0.3.tar.bz2
so i try
1)apt-get install iw
2)apt-get install wicd-curses
3)install latest backport
4)Play store install GNUroot Wheezy and GNUroot Debian by Corbin Champion
6) At Terminal,
sudo modprobe -v rt2800usb

It works for me after 2 nights trying and finally detect my wifi adaptor interface
