Palemoon-Parabola No Visible Text in Website Dialogue Boxes

This issue seems only to be happening on the following website and nowhere else that I can determine - not here for instance because I'm posting this from the computer in question:

http://www.cbc.ca

When I access this site from my laptop running Manjaro there are no issues, regardless of the browswer I use - Palemoon, Icecat, Falkon. I can connect to the site, access all the content through its menus and enter text visibly in the dialogue boxes to login and post comments.

When I access the same site from my laptop running Parabola, everything is fine if I use Midori browser. But if I use either Palemoon or Icecat, something strange happens that has me baffled. I can access the site and all of its content through the menus. And I can login and enter text in the dialogue boxes but its invisible when I type it. It is registering because whatever I typed in the dialogue box is acted upon when I hit <Enter>- i.e. I am logged in and my comment is posted and becomes visible in the list of other posts.

I'm stumped. Help appreciated.

I'm beginning to think that this may be a Parabola issue. On the computer running Palemoon on Manjaro, settings in DuckDuckGo are saved with no problem. On the computer running Palemoon on Parabola, DuckDuckGo settings are not saved. Also not saved when using Midori either. Could this be related to the issue previously noted?

How to move or copy this thread to the Arch distro forum?
