Post Packet injection on hostap for Linux Backtrack 3 LIVE CD

I was recently following up a tutorial on install hostap drivers with patch for injection.
http://www.governmentsecurity.org/fo...howtopic=27557
Everything was good until section 2.4 when I type "make" and this error msg shows:
***Can't build for 2.6 with a non-2.6 source!
make: *** [2.6] Error 1

I have installed linux kernel source 2.6.21.5 off a file named kernel.lzm using "lzm2dir file.lzm /" before I installed it I got a different error. I thought installing this kernel source would get rid of the errors.
I need advice please reply asap. I haven't restart pc cuz it's a live instalation and I will lose all the changes.

If it is urgent and . . .

if your requirement is packet injection, you can go for nemesis or gspoof

PS: I don't know about hostap.

ok.

there is a package with the name nemesis.
there is another package named gspoof.

You can download from www.sourceforge.net

and install either of them in your system.

with the help of them, you can inject packets in to the network.

hope I am much more clear this time.
