packages that work with outlook client (for sharing calendar)?

HI,

We are using the linux debian with postfix at the moment. But my boss really love the share calendar concept. I don't want to use MS exchange but is there any linux package that work with outlook client? Openexchange doesn't seem to integrate with outlook either as it got its own web-interface.

Have you tried evolution? It is compatible with Outlook.

Last time I checked evolution was the only email client supporting MS Exchange.

Novell offers a system with groupwise as server and evolution as client. Check it out.

Novell has also a great solution callef HULA: http://www.hula-project.org/Hula_Server
Hula is a calendar and mail server whose goal is to be fun and easy to use, while scaling effortlessly from small groups to large organizations with thousands of members. Its opensource.
