Can someone suggest a package manager that i can use with RH 9.

I find the default package manager with RH 9 irritating...
it does not show new packages that i install that is not part of the RH 9 package

You can always use or install the apt for Redhat, which is native of Debian instead of the RPM based package manager.

Don't have a link but if you search the forums or google, you should find something regarding other package managers.

You want the combination of apt and synaptic.

i personally like the epkg idea from www.encap.org you install all software in its own directory, then epkg goes and symlinks everything to where it should be.
