P2P Shared Files Browsing?!

It seems like there is one major problem with filesharing applications on Linux right now. (keep in mind, the apps I have tried are: giFT/KDEgiFT, gtk-gnutella, and lmule, and my observation is therefore limited to them)

None of them offer a way for you to easily browse and view/play the files you are sharing. I find it kind of annoying when I need to browse to /home/myname/.giFT/completed/ every time I want to check out the file I just downloaded.

Sure, I could just create a link to the appropriate directories on my desktop, but doesn't it make sense that this kind of feature would be a no-brainer in any p2p app?

Tell the app makers, or better yet, hack in the feature yourself
