p2p and sles9

hi i have just changed my routing machine from windows to linux and befor i did this it used to run Emule however now i have just got my routing machine working again but using SLES9 i am ahving trouble finding a p2p client that works with sles9

so far i have tried xmule, amule and mldonkey with a and x mule i couldnt even get it installed but with mldonkey i got an rpm from rpm.pbone.net but i am unsure if its just the gui or not but it doesnt realy let me do much when its loaded up the name of the rpm i used is mldonkey-2.5.28h-1.i586.rpm is this just the gui? if so where can i get the rest of it? and will it work with sles9?

also one of the xmule download i did was already configured all i had to do is either put the files in the wright place or just open the exicutible in console but either way i did it i got the following error message

xmule: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2-2.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

is this because its sles or what

thanks for any help

well the only real error we can mention is the xmule one.. and you've got the right version (or any version) of wxGTK installed. i believe 2.5 is the newest, but many apps insist on 2.4, not 2.5.

there's no reason al the other errors can't be fixed... but we would need more information about it.

when doing the ./configure command on amule i get the following error

checking for C++ compiler default output... configure: error: C++ compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

and i will re download the others and give them a go aswell but i will do that tomorrow

thanks for the help
