Overnet

Okay, this is the problem. When I first open Overnet (gui), the connect to donkey core dialog says under Core Status, Core on Remote Host. When I push the GO! button it does nothing. Whenever I pushed the Spawn Core button before, it always worked. How do I fix this?

And what do I put under, Host of Running Core?

which are the core port?
set you correctly the path to the local core (overnet0.xx.x)?
You must read Running (pid xxxx) and the core version (overnet0.xx.x: the same of above)

Core Status: Core on Remote Host

Core Port: 4663

I think I'm running the GUI as a normal user.

After I typed ps -ef|grep overnet in the Konsole/Terminal it said this:

dncwithmatt@linux:~> ps -ef|grep overnet

What is the chmod of
/home/DncWithMatt/overnet/?

i dont know why u cant connect to the core
You must see Running (pidxxxx) after you push the buttom instead of Core on remote host
Are you running the ed2k_gui from another machine where overnet0.xx.x reside?
