OSX task switching for Linux ?

Hello,

My friend showed me his OSX machine the other day and I liked the way it swiched between current task / applications on his desktop.

Now today on a virtual desktop I have 6 rxvt's open, all of them small so I can see all six at once, 2 colums by 3 rows.

I maximize the one I want to use, then when done minimize it and maximize another one... what I want to know is there a application for Linux, that would minimize all the applications running on the desktop so I could view them all at once ?

Michael.

Some thing like 3desktop but for application switching instead of desktop switching.

I'm guessing that you are searching for an Expose clone. Just search for 'linux expose' and you'll find a few attempts (Skippy, Expocity, Kompose, etc). I can't say which one works best, that also depends on your distro, Xserver and window manager... None of them seem to be as smooth as the real thing though :\

No ALT TAB is not cool enough .... I want something where all the running applications would be presented so I choose.
