osx aqua lookalike
I was just wondering, which window manager (kde, gnome, fluxbox, fvwm, whatever) is capable of looking the most like apples osx aqua (which i really like). thanks!

Gnome starts off with the advantage, as it already looks a lot like OS X, but I've seen themes for both KDE and GNOME that make them look identical to OS X.

Yes, it is all about the theme and running a widget to make a...program loader thing... KDE and Gnome are both capable I have never seen a screenshot of elightenment, fluxbox, or others looking like Mac OS X though.

I have seen screenies of both looking and working exactly like Mac OS X, which if that is what youa re going for, is great.

I think you'll find it easier at KDE. Some baghira theming, OS-L icons and using the already there menu bar should do the trick. :)
