Question OSSEC WUI not loading all the way, seems to be missing CSS and JS

I'm looking for anyone who has experience getting the Web User Interface for OSSEC working.

I have installed OSSEC on an Ubuntu 8.04.3 server. OSSEC is running smoothly. I followed the instructions on the OSSEC website for installing the WUI, and it all went smoothly and completed successfully. I changed the file ownership and permissions as instructed. I then set up an entry in my apache2 config for the OSSEC site and reloaded apache.

The OSSEC WUI loads, and appears to be functional, it just does not look anything like the screenshots. It is all just plain text with blue links. There are no colors, and no graphics.

I'm not too concerned since it seems to be functional and reporting just fine, but the problem is we may have to send example reports to the client that has dropped this HIDS requirement on us. And it would sure be nice if I could just save or print the WUI pages. That and my boss apparently thinks I'm a dufus for not being able to make the WUI look like he was expecting. For all I know he may be right.

I've checks the config files, I've check the file locations, permissions, and ownerships, and I cannot see why it is not loading correctly. If anyone that has experience with this has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
