OS X applications on Ubuntu

Can I install OS X applications (proprietary software) on Ubuntu. If not, is there a Linux distro that will install it. How good will they run on linux. I know that Open Office, GIMP, and Q CAD run on OS X, but not quite as good as on Linux.

AFAIK, no.

Most OS X applications use the Aqua interface, which is not available under Linux. OS X does include X11, which allows certain Linux apps to be ported to run on OS X, but not the other way around.
