org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files on running sync-engine

Hi,
I installed synce-0.13 in fedora.
On running sync-engine following exception is displayed in the terminal.

SynCE sync-engine starting up
2009-04-09 10:48:01,965 DEBUG syncengine : running main loop
2009-04-09 10:48:01,966 DEBUG syncengine : creating SyncEngine object
2009-04-09 10:48:01,984 INFO engine.syncengine.kernel : __init__: exception org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files
2009-04-09 10:48:01,984 DEBUG syncengine : installing signal handlers

Device is not yet connected, so it is waiting for device to connect.

Is the exception due to synce-hal is not running?
I installed synce-hal-0.13 but still no go

Anybody got this kind of exception.

thanks
Akbar
