oracle8.1.7 installation problem in RH8.0
hi guys,
I had this problem when I was installing Oracle8.1.7 on RH8.0. The installation was succesful. I didn't create the starter
database as suggested by some of the manuals. When the OUI started installing net8 , the system hanged.
I installed the patch glibc-2.1.3-stubs.tar.gz also and tried
running 'dbassist'. The system hangs when I run 'dbassist'. I have no clue as to what has happened. Did anyone else face the same problem
What is the solution to this?
