oracle installation problem


I am getting the following error when i tried to install the oralce 9i RHEL 5 could anyone help me for this

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 window server using 'server1:0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

It looks like you either need to login with the user that you are installing as or make sure that the user has access to the display before you su over.

Yes. Set your DISPLAY variable correctly. That's covered in the Oracle knowledgbase, and anyone from Oracle tech support can help you with it.
