There were some error messages during installation of oracle. Unfortunately it's my first experience of oracle's installation on linux.
And I can not boot linux that is why I can't change anythings in the linux's and oracle's settings to fix the problem. Now I face with question: how to login into the system and check logs files and fix problem? How is it possible to boot linux and check all settings?
Simplest way is to get a livecd distro such as knoppix, or even the gentoo install cd. They are invaluable tools to keep on hand for any problem that might arise such as this. I recall the time I had set my new root password, and didn't know what it was. Yes, I know you type it twice for that reason, but what can I say I have a gift when it comes to important things. I stuck in a live cd and fixed the system right up.
Thank you Alunduil. It's good idea. I'd never heard about linux livecd before you told me. I've just already studied this topic (I mean livecd) with google.
But are there other ways to login into linux in text console? You see because booting process is going when I boot system. I think only graphical interface can't appear and linux tries to load it again and again not giving me to type something in text console. Is there some hot-key to switch on text console before login into the linux under a some of logins (I know about Ctr+Alt+Fn but it works when you are in linux already)? Is it possible to change it in the GRUB kernel settings?
I'm not sure about getting to CLI after you've booted your system and it's already hanging. You can try ctrl+alt+backspace (same keys to get out of x after it has started), but I doubt this will have any effect in your situation. The alternative then would be the livecd, or if you have another computer available try logging into this machine with ssh.
If you have that other computer, and are able to use it to remotely log into your machine running oracle; then you can run your machine as if sitting at the console from anywhere. As for information on ssh there are plenty of web resources you can check on that as it's too large of a subject for me to cover, but in general it's a remote login protocol that uses an encrypted connection.
You may want to go to www.distrowatch.org and look at the livecd distributions as that may be easier.
If you are talking about Secure Shell for remote access I've heard something about it. Thank you again for advice with livecd. I'll keep it in mind.
But do you know the reason or may be even reasons of this problem:
