oracle database 10g on slackware 10.1

hello !
i tried to install oracle 10g on slackware 10.1 but i get this erorr mesage :
"Checking operating system version: must be redhat-2.1, redhat-3, SuSE-9, SuSE-8 or UnitedLinux-1.0 Failed <<<< " .can someone tell me how to resolve this erorr ?i'm sure that oracle 10g can be installed on slak 10 .

nobody knows ?? i connot aford to pay for suse and i want to install it on slackware because i like it very much

check out this link:

basically run this command to get things up and going...
../runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs

after that it's all fun and games cause it wasn't a piece of cake to get things going.

i've sucedeed to install oracle database an slak 10.1.i create a file in /etc called redhat-release and i put in that file <redhat-3> ,after that all work fine,i'm very happy now :P
