Oracle asmlib


Hi team.

I have installed redhat 6.2 with kernel 2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64 and i need to install ORACLE ASMLIB and the problem is that my kernel is not compatible, can you help me to fix this?

No, because you don't tell us what the error(s) you're getting are, or when you're getting them. The good news is that you're using Red Hat ENTERPRISE, with Oracle. Since you're PAYING for both (right???), you can call Oracle/Red Hat support. You're in a supported configuration, and they should be able to easily help you.

Since part of what you're paying for is access to the Red Hat network for software/patches/kernel-updates, you can download what you need (IF you're paying). If not, call Red Hat and pay for the access you need. Otherwise, you should NOT be using RHEL, but need to load CentOS instead.
