"opt/openoffice.org/program/instdb.ins"can not be read??

ok, i just got suse linux pro 9.1 installed last night. . when i click on the office icon on my desktop i get an error, and won't open my office program. I'm new to linux so I'm not quite familer with it yet. and thanks in advance for any help / or info..
exact error:
error: the file "/opt/openoffice.org/program/instdb.ins" can not be read
error: it is needed to run "suseconfig --module openoffice.org"
error: please, contact administrator.

I'm not for sure as to what i can do. i thought about trying to uninstall office and reinstalling it but i'm not for sure,, and when i do a search for the file, its supposedly there, but has that little arrow at the bottom left corner. like windows does when u create shortcuts to something. and sorry if this has been posted b4.
